"Phoenix Is Thataway" Limited Edition Art Print by Rob Ozborne.

THE STORY: Depicting the glorious Sonoran Desert and the famous PHOENIX arrow that sits on the side of Usery Mountain in north Mesa.

A little history about the sign. Back in the '50s, the Phoenix airport was small and airplane guidance systems were less sophisticated, so some local Boy Scouts decided to help incoming flights find the 'port. The Scouts cleared an area where they arranged rocks. They painted the rocks white to form the huge -- about 100 feet tall! -- letters.

Now, planes have no trouble finding the massive Phoenix airport, but this unmistakable oddity in the desert remains. It's pretty darn cool.

THE ARTIST: Designed and drawn by Rob Ozborne, each print is hand-signed and numbered.

THE PRINT: The artwork is printed on 13"x19" bright white matte art paper. The colors are rich. The frame is not included, but the print comes with a white border, and is ready to pop into a frame.

This is a limited edition that is numbered (out of 100).

SHIPPING & HANDLING: Great care is taken in preparing your print. Placed in a protective sleeve, gently rolled and well packed, your artwork ships in a sturdy tube.
